I’m Luca Ricatti, a guitarist, singer-songwriter and storyteller from Rome, Italy.
Well, I’m also a guitar teacher and lucaricatti.it is one of the most clicked italian website about learning to play guitar.
Despite I grew up listening hard rock and alternative rock, I’m in love with folk music.
I create fingerstyle guitar arrangement of italian folk music or write songs and instrumental solo Guitar pieces inspired from folk music.
Since people from various part of the world asked me for scores, guitar tabs and video lessons of my pieces, I’ve builded this site in english language.

About this website
I’m just an italian guy who learned a little english listening to american and british rock.
I built this website to share my music with the world and I did my best.
I tried to build it as simple as possible, just to make you get what you like.

How you can listen to my music
On this web site, obviously.
I share my music in audio or video format.
Normally, I record my videos outside, in the middle of the Nature, without postproduction tricks.
I’m not that kind of 5 cameras video shooting guy: I go out, put my phone on a tripod, point a microphone at my guitar and record.
My videos aren’t perfect, but it’s ok. What you see in those videos it’s what I lived in those moments: a wonderfull, full immersion in music and Nature.

I’m working to create video lessons for the major part of my songs and guitar solos pieces.
Or at least Pdf files with scores and guitar tabs.
You can often find a Guitar Pro file along with the printable Pdf: I think this is useful for people who got the GP App or a suitable software.
Every Lesson is a pack containing:

– a close-up shot of the left hand
– a close-up shot of the right hand
– a Score with Guitar Tab that runs in sync with the hands.
☞A printable Pdf file of Score and Guitar Tab.
☞The Guitar Pro file (usefull if you got the GP App or a software that reads the .gp files).
